Thank you for visiting my little corner of the universe! I am an artist, illustrator, and designer living and working near the Pacific Ocean in Encinitas, California.
My art is influenced by elements of nature and a spirit of play, and by a rich life lived fully (the shadows, and the light). I hand-cut many of my design motifs in paper, then scan, arrange, and color them digitally. I also make sculpture which is born of organic, non-traditional materials, and I love drawing with the grand, expressive, gestural marks of charcoal. My goal is to spread joy in as many ways as possible during my years here on earth.
I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia many moons ago. I’ve lived in eleven states, three of them twice, and spent a summer living in a convent in Italy that changed me to my core. I have a deep wanderlust and love of exploring our beautiful earth, in particular her most wild spaces that often move me to tears. I am also trained as a Martha Beck life coach, and am lovingly drawn to the richly-colored stories that make us all so sweetly human.
I’m the wife of a handsome fella, and rescue dog mama of Walter the tiny terrier. I feel infinitely blessed to be led by love in the work I do every day.
Please reach out and say hello!
